The Morphonium project is a collaboration between Claude Woodward and Stewart Greenhill.
Claude Woodward has been been playing music & making gadgets for 50 years, with a career spanning most of the evolution of the electronic music industry. He is fascinated (some might say obsessed) by ways to articulate electronic sound. Online he is perhaps best known as "The Sonic Manipulator" who's adventures include many wonderful and shiny musical inventions.
Stewart Greenhill has worked as a researcher in environmental and computer science with a focus on signal processing, multi-media and optimisation. He began programming on an 8-bit home computer and is still learning today. Online he is perhaps best known for his Ukulele Songbook which collects many arrangements from his community music workshops.
Claude and Stewart met while presenting at NIME 2016. In addition to a shared interest in inventing musical controllers they discovered that they both live in the same city (Perth, Western Australia).
